Hallelujah, folks! The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has just announced that they’ve located over 200 missing children during a 10-week-long operation in various states across the nation. Praise be! Operation ‘We Will Find You’ was an all-hands-on-deck mission that worked closely with state and local agencies to track down these poor innocent darlings.
Apparently, many of these children were either runaways or had been abducted by noncustodial persons. I mean, what kind of sicko would take away someone’s child? It’s beyond me!
During this epic operation, officials recovered an impressive 169 children while also safely locating another 56. But wait folks, hold onto your hats because there’s more – the youngest baby who was recovered hadn’t even celebrated their first birthday yet! Can you believe it?
The USMS shared some interesting data that showed us that out of the whopping total number discovered; which stands at a massive 225 – brace yourselves–86% of them were considered endangered runaways.
Another outstanding fact was highlighted regarding where some of these lost kiddos ended up being found: Out of those located outside the city they went missing in; ten were discovered south-of-the-border—Yes ma’am from Mexico dear readers—together five wanted by police Mississippi family members with dual citizenships.
What is truly humbling about this news piece is that Operation We Will find You pinpointed geographical areas throughout America most impacted by critically missing kids. These little ones are deemed vulnerable with high risk factors such as victimisation through kidnapping or sexSponsored Product trafficking along with medical or mental needs conditions.
Speaking of criminals (rolls up sleeves), while conducting this mission authorities uncovered illegal activity related to drugs and weapons trafficking alongside catching creeps violating sexSponsored Product offender regulations—stopping human exploitation altogether cold on its vile tracks.
‘The Hunt for Children’, sorry- ‘Operation We will Find You’ is a perfect example of the USMS’s commitment to child protection. Other people following their lead like Michelle DeLaune, National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children president, felt similarly; stating that Operation We Will Find You underscores why priorities running through everyone’s minds should be about child safety.
