Twitter started rolling out alterations to its platform for some customers on Saturday in preparation for the launch of its revamped subscription service Twitter Blue.
Updates outlined in the App Store confirmed that customers will be in a position to buy Twitter Blue and obtain a blue checkmark for $7.99 per month. The updates are listed as out there for customers in the U.S., Canada, Australia, the UK and New Zealand, according to the description in the Apple on the internet retailer.
Esther Crawford, director of item management at the social media organization, stated in a series of tweets that the new version of the subscription service is not out there for absolutely everyone but, but a “little early group” may perhaps see updates to the platform.
“The new Blue is not reside but — the sprint to our launch continues but some people may perhaps see us creating updates due to the fact we are testing and pushing alterations in actual-time,” she wrote. “The Twitter group is legendary. New Blue… coming quickly!”

Musk stated he plans to give “energy to the folks” by providing verification to anybody on the platform via Twitter Blue for $eight a month. He stated subscribers will get priority in mentions, replies and search, obtain half as lots of advertisements and will be in a position to tweet extended videos and audio.
