Police state that carjacking and thefts have substantially improved across the nation.
The statistics reveal that 1,405 autos in total have been stolen inside the year 2021, while 1,406 autos have been stolen this year ending on September 30.
Police Spokesman SSP Nihala Thalduwa pointed out that most of these carjackings have taken location due to the negligence of the automobile owners.
