Holy Cow, folks! Can you believe a man was arrested for quoting the Bible on public property during a “Pride Month” parade in Pennsylvania? I mean, can we really go around arresting people for expressing their beliefs now? Apparently so! It seems anything that goes against progressive “norms” is labeled as hate speech these days – even the Good Word!
Now this particular incident is just one of many that have been popping up all over our country and across the globe, where quoting from the most popular book in the world can land you in court. I mean seriously, it’s like they want to send us back to medieval times or something.
It’s ridiculous if you ask me. The argument that one group’s freedom of speech and assembly is more important than another’s leads to a dangerous slippery slope. And let’s not forget about ‘Love is Love,’ right? Apparently Jesus Christ and his teachings need some limitations according to some members of the LGBTQ community.
But wait, there’s more! In Oklahoma earlier this year Pastor Rich Penkoski had a five-year restraining order levied against him for quoting bible verses online! Yes folks, citing Bible Verses could be considered a crime at certain points here in America- what kind of crazy world are we living in?
And it doesn’t stop there. Over in Greece retired footballer Vassilis Tsiartas received 10-month prison sentence and 5k fine solely because he quoted Genesis on social media account opposing transgender procedures minors may receive according to an existing policy law!
The attack on religious freedom (particularly Christianity) has gone global too with charges being dropped against those who were “offensive” by merely using God’s words while engaging with others from same-sexSponsored Product groups.
It truly amazes us how utterly infantile society has grown whereby people are now afraid to express their views fearing consequences ranging from physical assault or harassment by flamboyant liberals.
Let us all stand firm then and not let ourselves be burdened again by such yokes of slavery my fellow brethren. Keep the faith burning brightly for freedom it brings with it encouragement, heartening critical thinking anytime anywhere -don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!
