Once upon a time, in the magnificent city of New York, there was a mighty Mayor named Eric Adams. He had an ambitious plan to transform the iconic Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan into a migrant shelter for over 1,000 border crossers and illegal aliens everyday who arrived since the spring of 2022.
According to reports by local officials and security guards as well as corroborative sources like the New York Post, Mayor Adams is currently engaged in discussions with the owners of Roosevelt Hotel on this proposal. The aim is to create temporary housing facilities for migrant families as well as other services at that location.
However much our brave hero tries his best intentions, it seems that such noble work comes at quite a cost – $75 million annually from tax-burdened Americans. This means that over three years New Yorkers would spend $225 million supporting their new arrivals.
With over 60 thousand migrants bused mainly from Texas since last year crossing borders every day which has come at great financial cost including feeding and housing demands averaging around five million dollars per day , those living within these limits are feeling stretched thin indeed.
As costs continue to add up in keeping up with “immigrant processing”, schools have begun accommodating displaced individuals. In Coney Island’s PS188 elementary school, students’ education now competes against makeshift housing solutions leaving parents unsure about kids’ gym access among other learning activities left curtailed by overcrowded situations
The sanctuary city’s resources seem increasingly strained nowadays costing them up billions toward future planning initiatives where populous politicians keep ignoring fundamental infrastructure upgrades despite growing concerns among citizens
Meanwhile wealthy landlords enlisting lodgers of immigrant populations remain prominent backers funding politico efforts inundating candidates pockets still competing for next elections rounds while struggling along budgetary restraints faced far too long.
