Nicki Minaj Trolled in “Swatting” Prank
For those of you who don’t know (which we assume includes the culprits as well), swatting involves calling law enforcement or reporting a false crime so that a large police response turns up at a specific location. It’s basically like playing dress-up with real-life consequences.
Last week, an anonymous caller reported to child services that Minaj was abusing her 2-year-old son, leading sheriff’s deputies to show up at her home in L.A. But surprise! There were no signs of abuse and it turned out to be yet another mind-boggling attempt at swatting one of music’s biggest stars.
If you thought wasting resources wasn’t enough for these high intelligent masterminds, they also followed up their childish behavior mere hours later by reporting that Minaj’s home was on fire which ultimately never happened either . That must’ve been almost as funny as when Bart Simpson used megaphones to play pranks on his neighbors – except nobody got hurt here…yet.
The rapper reportedly isn’t taking any chances after two “swattings,” she hired an attorney and vows to hold anyone responsible accountable for their actions in court. Reports suggest some serious discussions between both parties went down after nick faced multiple life-threatening scenarios caused due to these attempted stunts.
The good news is Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, are safe. The bad news is there will be more swatting attempts in the future because people just can’t resist flexing their trolling muscles. Maybe it’s time we all stop “playing” God and let authorities do their job instead of wasting everyone’s time.
Swatting: A Stupid Crime That Has Killed People
We’re well aware that the masterminds behind this pitiful act won’t care for consequences but as a reminder to our loyal readers – Swatting has become more dangerous over the years as pranksters cross the line from annoyance to tragedy. The list of celebrities who have fallen prey to stupid “swatting” pranks over recent years includes politicians, designers, and influencers alike. However this practice has cost lives or severely injured people due to police arriving at premises with heavy ammunition willing enough to use it when ‘required’during real hostage situations/suspected terror attacks etc.).
In 2017, Tyler Barriss was charged with involuntary manslaughter after making a false report about a shooting in Kansas City that led police officers to kill an innocent man named Andrew Finch on his porch (not sure if this will pass censorship tests).
So why don’t pranksters just stick to harmless practical jokes like telling your friend there’s something on their shirt when they go out? Need we say more?
Celebs Just Can’t Seem To Catch A Break When It Comes To Swattings
- Nikki Minaj: Added Newest Member In List-
- Marjorie Taylor Greene: it’s upto six times now, who’s counting? She must’ve made a lot of “friends” over the years from heavy ammunition forces.
- Steve Bannon: The former White House advisor also couldn’t escape this new age prank. The authorities must be super annoyed with his ever-ringing doorbell by now. Well, maybe he should make himself more conviniently avaialable so people won’t feel like playing pranks on him all day long.
This case wasn’t even funny.. Oh wait! What am I saying…of course it was hilarious.
We just want to remind these pranksters (if they can read) that swatting is not only illegal but deeply dangerous. And as we saw with Minaj, even celebrities with luxurious lifestyles and millions of fans aren’t immune to it – which means none of us are exempt either!
The Real Solution: Don’t Be A Moron
The internet has given rise to some truly dark humor which some may find entertaining while others have a line somewhere; swatting clearly crosses that line completely into stupidity. Hey- If you’re bored and lost inspiration then you could try writing articles on Beyonce being an alien or Jay-Z hiding up Jeffery Epstein, just for laughs!
But let’s face it; if these individuals put their creativity into something more productive instead of scouring Google for numbers they can use in “prank” calls, perhaps Earth would be saved from those waste-of-time calls where police spend hours driving around trying to locate people without any actual cause! So please stop being such idiots because life is hectic enough without people unnecessarily calling ambulances for no reason.. Your little troller lifestyle might personally amuse you but will only attract harsher punishments soon! Hope Mr.Skeletor internets understands.
