Ray Youssef, the former founder of Paxful, has recently expressed his opinion that Ethereum is a “drain and drag” on Bitcoin. In a post made on May 21st, he criticized Ethereum and stated that it is hindering Bitcoin’s progress.
Youssef believes that Ethereum’s impact has been largely negative in delaying advancements in crypto. He implied that rather than fostering development for Bitcoin, Ethereum has impeded its growth by referring to it as a “drain and drag” on the currency.
