So apparently, Harold Ford Jr. thinks Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report shows that President Joe Biden’s mental facilities are about as effective as a 20-year-old laptop sans hard drive and battery.
Ford himself is a former Democrat congressman from Tennessee and currently earns his bread (and fame) by offering ‘enlightening’ opinions on Fox News, implying that the report confirms the rather glaringly obvious fact that — tah-dah! – good ol’ Uncle Joe has “lost his fastball.” Gasp! Who woulda thunk?!
Ford Suddenly Wakes Up to His Party’s Elephant in The Room
A couple of things come to mind regarding dear Mr. Ford’s comments:
One: Welcome latecomer! Good job noticing Uncle Joe lost his fastball – too bad for you we’re already at end-season relegation.
Two, has Ford been meandering through la-la land these past three years? These questions about our beloved president have been more conspicuous than an elephant hiding behind your bookshelf.
Ford also highlighted what everyone with eyesight and morbid curiosity had already noticed – clips of Biden’s press conference demonstrating satellite delay-level reaction times were ripe for some well-deserved meme-ing ahead of elections.
The million-dollar question hanging in the air is now – are Democrats willing to fight for four more [years] of our adorable, blunder-prone Uncle Joe?
Joe Biden: “I’m not elderly! I’m experientially enhanced and my gosh darn mind still works … most times… maybe.”
25th Hour … Err Amendment?
Our dear instigator Ford even hinted at the possibility of reaching into Pandora’s box – invoking the 25th amendment (cue dramatic gasps). He cited Uncle Joe’s iconic press conference – where he referred to a Middle Eastern officer as a Mexican one (Hey we all have those days right?) –as evidence.
In contrast to Ford’s call for sober reflection within Democrats’ circles regarding their presidential choices, it appears that some Party members are quite content riding this roller coaster with blindfolds on.
Quintessential optimist Rep. Susan Wild shrugged off concerns faster than you can say ‘denial’. She passionately defended good ol’ Uncle Joe in a meeting while skillfully tiptoeing around his notable slip-ups
