A suspected car or truck thief in Manchester, England, apparently located the notion of becoming arrested unbearable ― so he reportedly attempted to hide inside a five-foot teddy bear.
Spoiler alert: Joshua Dobson’s try at becoming a master of disguise didn’t function and now he will have to see if he can bear time behind bars.
The 18-year-old has been wanted by Higher Manchester Police because May perhaps when he allegedly “stole a car or truck and didn’t spend to fuel it up,” according to the BBC.
Dobson managed to elude capture till July when police have been looking a property in Rochdale and noticed what a force spokesman described as “a massive bear breathing.”
Dobson was taken into custody and charged with the alleged crimes. He was sentenced to nine months in a young offenders institution final week, according to the Metro.
“He’s now stuffed behind bars just after becoming sentenced final week for theft of a motor automobile, driving although disqualified, and producing off from a petrol station with out payment. Hopefully, he has a bearable time inside.”
