ApeCoin DAO’s High-Paying Council Causes Conflict

Last week, Twitter users raised concerns about the compensation of leadership within the ApeCoin DAO. The controversy began when Vulkan, who holds the position of ApeCoin secretary, shared an organizational chart detailing the hierarchy of the ApeCoin DAO leadership system. What caught people’s attention was that monthly salaries were also disclosed for each role.

According to Vulkan’s tweet, these are the salary figures: $7,000 for the secretary position, $8,000 for governance facilitators, $9,000 for working group stewards, $20,833 for Special Council members and a whopping $75,000 for WebSlinger – a Cayman Islands-based administrator responsible for legal and compliance matters on behalf of the Ape Foundation.
